Our Client, a reputable Gym and Fitness Centre in Ajah and Magodo, Lagos State seeks to hire a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Business Development Executive. As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for helping the company meet its monthly sales target on products and subscriptions. In addition to ensuring the overall profitability of the brand.

No two days are the same and you will have the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life. In this role, you will drive membership growth by performing outreach activities - generating and converting leads by inspiring people to take action that has a positive impact on their physical, mental, and emotional wellness. You aid membership retention through positive interaction with our existing members, assisting them with enquiries, and providing exceptional customer service that motivates them to continue their fitness journey

The successful candidate should reside within the Lekki -Ajah axis. 

Job Description

  • Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns
  • Generating and converting high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and the identification of new business opportunities
  • Achieving the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities 
  • Providing sales presentations and tours to prospective members
  • Creating great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions
  • Achieving successful outcomes to enquiries
  • Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
  • Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey - recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience
  • Promote specific products/initiatives as directed by upper management
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all sales and operations transactions of the branch

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in any related field
• Up to 5 years in Sales/Customer Service, preferably in the Hospitality Industry or a restaurant chain.
• Up to 3 years of leading a team.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in managing a branch facility.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
