They are a market leader in designing, formulating, and producing oilfield chemicals for production and completions applications. With a focus on delivering differentiated chemical technologies to drive performance. They support customers and projects in 5 deep-water assets in Nigeria. To deliver on these commitments and acquire future businesses, they are seeking to hire an experienced  Sales Executive in Lagos, Nigeria. Preferred candidates are experienced persons who have some or strong experience in sales within banking or other financial institutions. 

Job Description

  • Find prospects and leads within Oil and Gas (Exploration, Service Companies, Hospitality, Manufacturing, etc)
  • Maintain existing client relationships 
  • Learn details about our products and services
  • Understand all the prospect's needs, problems, or wants
  • Explain how our solutions align with their pain points
  • Meet with potential clients and act as their consultant
  • Up-sell when appropriate
  • Follow up with hot 
  • Identify buyer persona profiles
  • Investigate leads and find out about them as much as possible before contacting
  • Consult with sales and marketing team to ensure the efficiency
  • Meet sales KPIs
  • Track and monitor your work
  • Prepare and present reports when needed
  • Attend sales educational events and seminars
  • Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices
  • Report to management team

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Minimum 10 years sales experience preferrable in the banking, insurance or other financial services. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Previous experience within sales in the banking and finance industry is a plus 
  • Knowledge of marketing
  • Experience selling into or working with marketing teams and their agencies 
  • Track record of reaching and exceeding sales targets 
  • Proven ability to successfully drive revenue via scaled selling across various designs and styles
