Company Description

Our Client is a Hospitality Business located Peter Odili Road Port-Harcourt providing catering and food-related services. They urgently seek to hire a Chef Supervisor Coordinate to supervise all food planning, purchasing, and production operations in a Fast-Food Business.

Job Description

  • Supervising a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Work alongside the team to ensure effective rota planning,
  • Recording of invoices, general administration and ordering of food products & equipment.
  • Ensure the proper and economical use of all materials and equipment and appropriate portion control is always implemented.
  • Daily checking and recording of fridge & freezer temperatures in all areas. 
  • Checking expiry dates of stocks in refrigerators. 
  • Cleaning of kitchen areas to agreed policies and standards to reach all food hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • To hold monthly team meetings
  • To report immediately any accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, or unfit food or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate or possible.

Qualifications

  • OND or HND in a Food related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-food industry
  • Knowledge of food-related activities, techniques, regulations, and standards.
  • Understanding of Food Safety, Hygiene, quality control, and other techniques for an effective running of the business.
  • High energy and attention to detail.
  • Good Communication and Supervisory skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good analytical and Excellent IT Skills
