Job Description
- Ensures achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
- Promote products and services to customers
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through calling, networking, and social media
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Review sales performance and create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Organizing sales visits; preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on products and services
- Prepares, submits, and discusses Sales Reports, Sales Bookings (Sales Order Slips), and Expense Report/s.
- Participate in weekly Sales and Operations meetings to discuss concerns in relation to sales activities.
- Assists the Accounting and Finance Department, particularly the Credit and Collection Department, in collecting and/or setting aged receivables.
- Ensures overdue and due invoices are collected when it becomes due for collection.
- Advises the Accounts and management on the reason for the non-collection of due and/or overdue invoices, especially with B2B customers.
- Negotiates with the client to commit payment for due invoices.
- Ensures invoices given are immediately submitted to the client for countering to ensure timely collection.
- Ensure stock availability
- Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets.
- Benchmarks and monitors competitor’s actions and strategies.
- Contributes ideas and suggestions towards improving total marketing efforts
- Assists in plant visits and other company sales activities.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.
Qualifications
- OND or HND in Mechanical or any other relevant technical discipline
- Working knowledge of automobiles
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive, workshop supervisor or any relevant role with at least one (2) years experience in a similar business
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Must be computer literate
- Must be results-oriented, team player, articulate, reliable, and trustworthy
- Must be good in both verbal and written communication
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Must have no travel limitations
- Orientation on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP)
- Passion with sales
