ASSISTANT MANAGER-IT & AUTOMATION(ERP,POS,BOS)

About You:
The AM- IT, provides administrative and organizational support to the Information Technology in a fast-paced and constantly changing working environment. To manage various aspect of POS solution, which includes the Point of Sale, Back Office and Central Office including the promotions engine at central office payment gateway etc. The applicant should be well versed with ERP System , Integration , building ,modification (supply chain management)
Candidate from Retail Industry is our preference .
Duties and tasks mostly reflect variety and complexity, requiring judgment and experience to successfully accomplish tasks with limited direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
Application Support of point of sale application across all Retail Outlets - Perform POS rollout at new Outlets- Monitor & manage databases.
Perform root cause analysis- Be part of the new projects related to point of sale- Understand POS technology stack for any kind of maintenance- Interact/coordinate with users/groups for any functional/operational requirements .
Critical Results to be delivered by the role :- Root cause analysis and solution identification.
Work with the team to ensure high availability of the system.
Develop modules in java to help automate current checks performed through manual processes / enhancement in the system .
Expertise knowledge of ERP, Building, modification ,development of POS ,BOS
Ideal Candidate :-
5+ years work experience in a role as a IT Analyst with retail industry experience OR as a super user retail professional who has been actively involved in software implementations An understanding of retail business practices, specifically those of a buyer, planner, allocator, Marketing, or Store Operations professional Retail systems knowledge is required in the areas of POS, Supply Chain, ERP, Merchandising, E Commerce, Allocation Forecasting, WMS, SCM, TMS, Finance, HR/Payroll within a Retail enterprise Requirements documentation and management experience. Experience with requirement management tools is a plus. Ability to present information in an understandable and compelling manner An organized and methodical aptitude to handle multiple projects at a time ,an ability to engage with external customers and the internal implementation team strong verbal and written communication skills.
The IT Analyst provides business process expertise, and technical guidance on the most complex projects, or researching strategic planning matters from a business standpoint.
