Job Description
In this exciting 10 month fixed term contract (until February 2026), you will be responsible for oversight of the range of initiatives being delivered by the Energy division. You will lead a small team and provide project office support to the Energy division as a whole. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data and reporting that underpins the governance of these major programs of work. Overall, you will help ensure successful delivery of the full Energy roadmap whether it be EV network rollout, technology implementation, or acquisition integration.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the overall roadmap for all initiatives including EV network rollout, technology implementation, and mergers and acquisitions
- Maintain a focus on strategic risks and risk management activities, liaising closely with the Energy team and internal risk management teams, to ensure all critical risks are managed through to closure
- Provide input to the Exec Steering Committee (Steerco) on program status and delivers the update to the Steerco on a monthly basis
- Support governance structures for decision making
- Create and maintain meaningful relationships across the organisation
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the methodology, framework, tools and templates for project management
- Maintain reporting and roadmap updates with tracking and governance information
What You'll Bring
- 10 years+ previous project management experience in large project or program environments, ideally in EV, electrical or technology sectors
- Strong budget management and control skills including reporting – actuals, forecast and variance reporting
- Strong communication skills; verbal, written, presentation and analytical
- Experience of coaching and mentoring direct reports
- Complex problem solving across multiple projects and/or programs of work
- Ability to work on a diverse range of projects, including multiple concurrent projects.
- Highly organised operator with the ability to work independently as well as a team
- Able to form strong cross-functional relationships in a remote working environment
