CNC Machinist/Programmer

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Antelope Valley, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components with precision and efficiency.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code to create complex parts and components
- Set up and operate various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
- Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop and optimize machining programs
- Perform precision measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency
- Maintain and calibrate CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in CNC machining
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming
- Proficiency in CNC programming using G-code and M-code
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam or SolidWorks
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Proficient in using precision measurement tools and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of various materials, cutting tools, and machining processes
- Understanding of quality control standards and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred
- NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certifications are a plus
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed
