Primary Responsibilities: ­

  • Define, develop, and implement the Director of Business development sales growth strategy that is focused on revenue growth, expanding market, and customer satisfaction.
  • Focus on business relationships, retaining/developing customer loyalty, and brand awareness with existing and potential customers. Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Apply knowledge of the industry, market landscape, technology, product, and processes to educate prospects and clients on the business value of our offerings and services.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. Market Share and Market Penetration.
  • Serve as the key point of contact to new and existing customers. Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance. 
  • Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events promoting brand awareness, Services, increase sales and territory.
  • Prepare sales contracts and quotes that adhere to law-established rules and guidelines supported by legal groups, operations, and business development. 
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to the Director of BD and the marketing team on the execution of the strategy.
  • Work alongside the Sales, Director of BD, and Marketing departments on sales goals, projections, and market trends.
  • Effectively maintain sales pipeline data and activity reports, providing management with accurate sales forecasts in CRM.
  • Manage and coordinate the full pipeline lifecycle from lead identification, qualification, project scoping, contract negotiation, and writing in a high-volume environment with quick turnaround times.
  • Work with the client to craft and develop a vision for the product and ground an execution plan with data from industry-specific research.
  • Developing and refining concepts, creating presentations to communicate ideas, leading brainstorming sessions, and crafting the right verbal and visual story to align all the stakeholders and ultimately attain client commitment.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years’ experience in sales/product development contracts
    • 4+ years of experience working with CRM.
    • Proven track record with 5+ years within the Robotics, Agriculture Technology, Industrial Automation or Automotive or Aviation industry or related field of expertise
    • Understanding of hardware product development, integration of major engineering components into c a cohesive product. i.e., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, software development, Industrial design.
    • Strong entrepreneurial skills, self-starter, and an ability to work with very little supervision.
    • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Possess expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques.
    • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Proficiency in English (Reading & Writing)
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • A genuine interest in the evolution of the (Robotics, Agriculture technology, Industrial Automation or Automotive) industry, with the initiative to tackle and understand the newest trends and technologies.
    • Strong professional business acumen, organization skills, detail-oriented, and deadline and metrics-driven decision making for continual improvement.
    • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time (post-COVID-19)
