Will you join us?

As a member of MyEffect’s software team, the successful candidate will work with our developers to create an interoperating family of web and mobile innovations, using Agile project management methods. 

Work will take place at the MyEffect’s head-office in Kitchener, Ontario.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as a front-end developer and contribute to the conceptualization and design of the front-end of our self-adaptive computing platform. Specific priorities:

• Respond to client requests, integrate feedback and improve overall user experience

• Conceptualize and research UX/UI improvements to make MyEffect  meet client needs and increase performance

Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly

• Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing

• Strength in User-experience (UX), User-interface (UI) design

• Strong knowledge in javascript with proficiency in Angular.js

• Knowledge of database design, Application Programming Interface (API) service integration, web service programming and mobile app programming is required, as are proven abilities in the diagramming, documentation and presentation of technical idea

• Proficiency in Node.js, MEAN stack and MySQL databases
   

• Experiences on Web services and Mashups

• Experience designing information storage and retrieval systems (optional but of benefit)
