Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Jackson, MS

Duration: 3 years 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION : MCSE: Data Management and Analytics   

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

# YEARS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to write formal reports

Proficiency with software such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel.

Ability to develop data analysis scripts utilizing SQL against potential DB2, Oracle, and SQL server databases

Experience with developing dashboards and reports with BI tools – Power BI Required.

BI Report Development

BI and Data Analytics

Data Quality

Data and Business Intelligence Governance

Experience in designing BI dashboards and reporting applications

 Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting

Must have the ability to manipulate large data sets and identify trends using BI tools

BUSINESS SKILLS

Must have strong communications skills in relating complex subject matter to senior management

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required

SOFTWARE

SME proficiency with Power Bi

Proficient level skill in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Atlassian (JIRA) software

Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack (Azure SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, Tabular Reporting);

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

Preference given to candidates with the below skills/experience. Must also meet minimum requirements.

Local always a plus

Previous State/Gov experience a plus
