Job Description

Are you immersed in the thriving music scene in Los Angeles? Do you regularly attend shows at local venues, and are you passionate about music as a whole? If so, this position may be for you! 

We are looking for a Scene Reporter in the Los Angeles area. As the Scene Reporter for our LA column, you will be responsible for providing your audience with valuable information about upcoming shows and festivals. You will accomplish this by posting regularly about exciting shows on the website and promoting the stories on Twitter. In other words, you will be THE reliable source for news about events in the LA music scene. 

It must be noted that this is an unpaid position and is only for those that live in and around the Los Angeles area. We especially encourage those that are passionate about music to apply.

Additional Information

Do note that this position is UNPAID; the benefits of joining our team are experience, exposure, and a foot in the door into the industry.

Prior experience not required; degrees in Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar fields are a plus.  If selected, you will receive training on how to write and publish a standard article using our site’s content management system.
