This position is located in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Remote work from home may be available until COVID restrictions are lifted, with expectations to work out of the Tucson office thereafter. 

Non-exempt, full-time position with 90 day probationary period. Employment beyond 90 days will be dependent on contract award. 

Base hourly pay rate for this role typically start between $14.00 to $17.00 per hour DOE plus performance bonus.

Schedule will be Monday - Friday during regular business hours but may flex slightly.

Mural is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and focused Technology Sales Consultant to help organizations adopt and optimize new cloud telephony technology. This role will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads while partnering with Sales Engineers in converting leads into a sale, all while ensuring great customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Using a consultative approach, you will actively design and implement onboarding/adoption strategies with/for state and local government customers looking to adopt Zoom Phone applications.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively articulate technology, telecommunication features, and product specific benefit analyses to government, technical, and executive audiences.  We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, have a proven record of accomplishment in Technology Sales, and maintains parallel expertise in "soft skill" disciplines such as business acumen, presentation skills, building customer relationships, developing an engagement strategy, and having a thorough understanding of the targeted industry. Ultimately, you’ll the point person for generating, cultivating, and preparing and helping to close sales leads. You will also gain incentives for leads that become closed sales.

Primary responsibilities for a Technology Sales Consultant
Impact the lives of our partner customers and empower their success by: 

• Drive the adoption of partner solutions within strategic accounts, expanding usage across departments within their markets. 
• Provide exemplary technology sales expertise and on-going sales consultation with prospective and existing customers and partners.
• Develop/deliver presentations and demonstrations on partner professional services solutions, translating service/technical features into value drivers while addressing objections.
• Gather feedback on effectiveness of marketing materials to drive customer action; willingness to reshape marketing process.
• Develop/maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends.
• Willing to use multiple communications avenues to generate and nurture qualified leads – email, chat, phone, LinkedIn, etc.
• Direct customer interaction to assist with onboarding, escalation and/or solicit feedback of the customer experience. Delegate troubleshooting and escalation issues to specialized teams.
• Collaborate with Zoom sales engineers to effectively demonstrate Zoom Phone features to ensure prospective customer sales are closed and happy with their product.

Qualifications

Talents needed for a Technology Sales Consultant

• Comfortable engaging and proactively building strong rapport and relationships quickly with potential customers without prior introduction.
• Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present concise, high-quality product demonstrations to both technical, functional, and executive audiences.
• Ability to articulate common functional and technical aspects of SaaS offerings, including end-user and administrator capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to engage professionally, respectfully, and clearly with others.
• Outstanding professional, consultative-sales, and technical capabilities; comfortable supporting both sophisticated and rudimentary technology customers/users.
• Self-Manager who can work independently on assigned tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and engagements at any one time with no lapse in customer experience.
• Solid track record of achieving and exceeding performance and behavioral expectations.
• High standard for professionalism and customer service.
• Ability to learn and develop knowledge and experience to stay current and advance in skills.

Requirements for a Technology Sales Consultant

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent customer, technical and sales experience required
• Minimum of 1-3yrs experience working in a Technology Sales role 
• 1-3 years identifying and increasing customer adoption of predefined solutions
• 1-3 years of experience with SaaS communications tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.) 
• High degree of organization to balance competing priorities
• Cope with potentially high-stress and changing environments
