A Clinic Coordinator's day is centered around keeping the practice running smoothly for both patients and staff. They begin by reviewing provider schedules, staffing coverage, and patient flow to ensure the clinic is appropriately staffed and prepared for the day's appointments. Throughout the day, they support and guide front office and clinical team members, address operational challenges, monitor attendance and scheduling needs, assist with patient and provider concerns, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality standards. They also oversee supply management, support the electronic medical record system, help train and coach staff, and collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and clinic performance. Their role is a balance of leadership, problem-solving, staff development, and operational coordination to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.

2 Year / Associate Degree : In lieu of an associate’s degree, directly related experience may be accepted.  

Minimum of one year of experience as a medical assistant  

Minimum of two years of progressively increased responsibility in a clinical or health related setting.

Medical Assistant (CMA)
