Job Description
Ready to rock the sales world in the heart of London? We're on the hunt for a superstar Pre-Opening Sales Manager to join our second hotel in London in the buzzing Shoreditch area close to Old Street! Motel One London Shoreditch is set to dazzle in Autumn 2025, boasting 237 rooms and a design that's as cool as the neighbourhood itself.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
You will therefore win over our customers by providing a service that is tailored to their individual needs and requirements. Your duties will also include the following:
- Create Awareness of the Brand/Hotel within the market, whilst preparing for the hotel opening.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to build and expand our customer base and increase market share
- Independently establish and build partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies and other local businesses, whilst maintaining a strong relationship.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Plan and organise customer events to showcase our offerings.
- Participate in hotel activities including promotions, sales blitzes, entertainment and other operational areas as directed
- Negotiate contracts with corporate clients
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring all goals are met.
- Contribute to the development of sales forecasts.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of the area would be an advantage.

- Experience of Hotel Openings advantageous
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
- Experience in the hotel industry or relevant sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Experience of Opera Cloud would be an advantage but not essential.
