HR Business Partner (Permanent)
North London
£45,000 Per Annum
Our client, one of the largest specialist providers of mental health services in the voluntary sector located in North London, is currently looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to work on a Permanent basis.
You will be working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30. This role will be paying £45,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the business, build strong relationships to enable enhanced business performance, capability and motivation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the Regional team to enable enhanced business performance, capability and motivation.
- Use performance data e.g. absence, turnover etc. to identify issues, trends and possible underlying causes in order to identify solutions to improve business performance.
- Maintain a proactive presence at key forums and meetings to ensure that a solution focussed professional approach to people management is promoted, practised and embedded.
- Provide proactive support to the performance management process from business planning through to objective setting and development planning, ensuring consistency in approach and execution at all times. Review the output and advise on action to be taken to improve effectiveness.
- Ensure people management policies and procedures are fit for purpose and provide the appropriate support to the business, advising the Policy and Employee Relations Manager of any changes that need to be made.
- Advise and participate in the consistent and timely application of all people management policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of the employment climate and legal framework in relation to employee relations issues and assess the business impact.
- Working with Business Development, advise on the people implications of mergers, acquisitions and tendering programmes.
- Through effective and consistent application of the performance management process ensure that the desired behaviours/competencies are embedded into every level of the organisation and all staff have a meaningful development plan in place.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level.
- CIPD qualified at Member status (or working towards).
- Up to date knowledge of UK HR practice and employment law and ensuring compliance through policy and procedure.
- Proven experience of managing, planning and implementing complex change.
- Experience of handling large scale TUPE activity.
- Experience of using HR metrics to inform and improve organisation performance.
- Experience of managing and implementing projects.
- Experience of providing high level guidance and support to managers in multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience of working to a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
