Job Description

Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
Answers incoming telephone calls, takes orders from Wholesale customers and Company owned stores.
Prepares pick schedules, reconcile shipments. Updates warehouse computer records for product movements through key-punching such activity.
Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

Qualifications

 

  •  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization, or by phone.
  •  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  •  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
