Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Group Resourcing Team to support our Operations division. Partnering with our Moneybarn colleagues this person will also have the opportunity to support recruitment across our other brands: Vanquis and Sunflower. In partnership with your hiring team and wider Resourcing team you will be responsible to effectively manage candidates through the recruitment lifecycle, be consultative and participate and own projects to enhance the recruiting experience across Moneybarn and the wider group.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be central to this change and thrives in a fast-paced changing environment, whilst ensuring that we find the best candidates and provide a great service to our hiring manager community.

Our Resourcing Team have moved to a hybrid working approach – the ideal candidate must be happy to work at one of our following offices: London, Chatham, Petersfield or Bradford

Key responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders and key stakeholders to understand the resourcing needs

  • Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment and selection – includes support in creating job descriptions, advertising, sourcing, partnering with the business and guiding them through the process and negotiating job offers

  • Candidate management – identify, develop and execute souring plans, working with the candidate through the lifecycle from start to walking into one of our offices

  • Utilise recruitment data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to hiring managers, business leaders, key stakeholder and HR Community

  • Understand recruitment trends and utilise innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to attract top talent

  • Looking beyond direct applications, leveraging and promoting our employer brand by attending career/recruitment events

  • Working closely and knowledge share with our counterparts across Provident Financial Services and wider HR Community

  • Project work involvement – helping shape the Employer Brand including Diversity and Inclusion

  • Proficient use of an ATS

  • Adhere to the FCA Conduct rules

Qualifications

What will it take to be a successful Talent Acquisition Specialist?  

  • Experience in sourcing and recruiting for volume roles using a variety of recruitment strategies
  • Communicate and influence effectively
  • High standard of written communication
  • High organised – keen eye for detail with a natural sense of urgency, proven experience of recruiting at pace in a quickly changing environment

Desirable but not essential:

  • CIPD or REC qualified
  • Experience working within an FCA regulated environment
