Job Description

We are now looking for a Credit Data & Systems Analyst to join our team. Reporting directly to the Credit Risk Manager this brand new role could be an excellent development opportunity for someone who has an interest in data/MI/systems and is looking to follow a career path in Credit Risk. 

No previous experience of Powercurve or SAS is required as full training will be provided but the right candidate should be able to show a keen interest in data, be able to demonstrate experience of producing accurate MI/analysis and have an aptitude for learning and applying new technical skills. 

The Credit Data & Systems Analyst will be responsible for: 

  • making sure that credit risk data and internal/external credit risk reporting are accurate and compliant
  • setting up and managing credit risk strategies within Powercurve, our Credit Risk decisioning system
  • providing analytical support to other analysts in the Credit Risk team
  • translating business requirements into credit risk system design
  • building strong relationships with the Credit Reference Agencies
  • ensuring ongoing accuracy and compliance of credit bureau reporting

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with data and management reporting
  • Ability to pick up and run with new technical skills following training (systems and data programming tools such as SAS)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong initiative
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to senior managers
  • Good positive attitude to working with others
