The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing critical tier 1 technical support for all end users. This role requires a professional demeanor, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of core IT concepts to build upon.

Essential Responsibilities

• Promptly address and resolve Help Desk requests for technical support
• Conduct thorough identification, research, and resolution of technical issues related to LAN and PC workstations
• Implement and maintain computer hardware systems, including desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and scanners
• Exercise professional judgment to implement timely solutions, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction, minimizing downtime, and preventing cost overruns
• Adhere strictly to established protocols and guidelines while leveraging experience to execute job functions
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT knowledge database through meticulous documentation
• Some travel as required by the position

• B.S. Computer Science or related field
• Three or more years of experience in a related position
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Apple and Android operating systems
• LAN support experience
