Job Description

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of project management tasks related to technology driven initiatives.  By collaborating as a strategic partner with both Enterprise Services (Operations) and Client Teams, this function will maintain the role of trusted advisor across multiple domains.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement Project Management training processes and strategies for Technology Teams
  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel to ensure efficient and effective project execution toward established milestones
  • Influence Business Strategy with fact-based decision-making to all levels of leadership up to senior executive levels utilizing skills in mathematical and statistical techniques and approaches
  • Modernize data analysis tools and data visualization
  • Develop analysis queries and procedures in analysis software, relevant industry data & methods, and connect external insights to business problems
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and define the RACI for specific projects or initiatives
  • Partner with the Executive Team to drive growth in Decision Science capabilities to better serve the analytics needs of our Client Teams
  • Play a key role in the execution of our Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field required
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution (preferred)
  • Certifications in technology, Jira project management toolset, etc. (preferred)
  • Experience with analytics development
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience with new and emerging data sets, and incorporation (data wrangling, data munging) into new insights
