Job Description

Moneta is seeking a dynamic Total Rewards Manager to join our team and lead our compensation and benefits strategy.  This position will oversee daily administration and strategic planning of the total rewards program to achieve an equitable and competitive total rewards package that aligns with firm’s overall business objectives. Essential Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a total rewards package to align with firms’ objectives and philosophy.
  • Support and guide the strategic design and execution of the company’s global compensation for all roles within the organization.
  • Perform regular compensation benchmarking analysis and develop creative solutions that are globally aligned to drive attraction and retention of talent.
  • Conduct market analysis and maintain survey and vendor database.
  • Conducting job analysis and evaluations, write job descriptions.
  • Developing guidelines for correlating performance with compensation structure; providing tools to ensure all pay adjustments and promotions conform to established guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance across benefit offerings and compensation strategies with all federal, state and local guidelines including mandated reports and communications.
  • Liaise with Finance and Payroll in administration of total rewards program including budget forecasting and internal auditing and reconciliation.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors, brokers and carriers.
  • Lead annual benefit review and renewal and manage all open enrollment activities both internal and external.
  • Responsible for all benefit compliance and audit filing and functions.
  • Lead communications on total rewards philosophy and offerings; provide support and training to managers in understanding and communicating; deliver educational programming to the firm.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers pertaining to full benefit suite, acts as a point of escalation for employee benefit claim issues and plan changes.
  • Prepares reports and presentations illustrating market data and cost analysis and uses data for insight-driven decision-making support with top management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Preferably more than 10 years of experience in total rewards management with a focus on compensation and benefit design and administration.
  • Tenured experience with benefit laws and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 401(k); high deductible health plans (HDHPs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs); self-insured health plans; understanding of benefits, billing process and requirements for HRIS applications.
  • Proven experience in managing benefits compliance, including government regulations and audits.
  • Experience with HRIS reporting and analysis, with proficiency in analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA and benefit compliance requirements.

LOCATION OPTIONAL:  While this role is required to be in-office, this opportunity may report out of our Chicago, Boston, Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver, or Boulder offices.
