Job Description

The Advisor will work closely with the Partner and other members of the Family Office Team to analyze and advise multi-generational families of significant wealth on all aspects of wealth management including investments, tax planning, estate planning, family governance and strategy, wealth education, risk management, philanthropy planning, and more. The Family Office Advisor is expected to provide exceptional client service to Family Office clients, have an analytical approach, be proactive, and team oriented.

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate closely with and take direction from Partners to manage overall client relationship
  • Prepare and present client projects and reports
  • Coordinate preparation of and review client meeting materials
  • Analyze and/or direct investment portfolio recommendations
  • Research, implement, and coordinate strategies across all areas of wealth management including estate planning, income tax, insurance, wealth education, charitable giving, and beyond
  •  Manage and complete follow-up items from client meetings and conversations and respond to client requests or questions
  • Build deep and trusting relationships with clients
  • Attend and lead portions of client meetings
  • Commit to ongoing learning to remain an authority on Family Office matters

Qualifications

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree from a four-year institution
  • Minimum of five years of experience in investments, tax, and/or estate planning
  • CPA or JD preferred but not required
  • CFP is required within first two years of employment (if designation not already held)
