About the Role

As an Air Freight Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of domestic air freight deliveries, ensuring our customers' shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will act as a central point of contact between clients, carriers, customs brokers, and import operators — making sure every moving part of the supply chain is aligned and running smoothly. Your ability to meet customer KPIs while maintaining exceptional service standards will be critical to the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily air freight deliveries across domestic networks, working closely with Import Air Operators, Customs Brokers, carriers, and clients to ensure shipments move efficiently from origin to destination within agreed timeframes
• Proactively manage delivery issues, delays, or exceptions — liaising with all relevant parties to resolve operational challenges and providing clear, timely updates to customers
• Support the Commercial Team with accurate and competitive pricing, assisting with rate negotiations and identifying opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve margins
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal operating systems, ensuring full visibility of shipment status at all times
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact and upholding a consistently high standard of customer service

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years Previous experience in air freight, logistics, or transport coordination is highly regarded — familiarity with air freight processes, documentation, and industry terminology will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• A customer-first mindset with a proven ability to manage expectations and deliver solutions under pressure
• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when maintaining records and processing shipment documentation

• 2+ years experience in Airfreight, shipping agency, or logistics coordination, including booking releases, SI/VGM handling, and invoicing (IV/DN/PV).
• Strong understanding of import/export processes and freight documentation.
• Confidence using freight systems, airline platforms, and customs processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to stay calm, organised, and solution-focused in a busy environment.
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership.
