    Job Description

    HC Truck Driver – Join a Team That Keeps Australia Moving

    We’re on the lookout for a reliable and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our growing transport team. If you take pride in your work, know your way around the wharf, and value doing things the right way, we want to hear from you.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Transport containers and freight safely and efficiently between wharf, depot, and customer sites
    • Inspect containers and freight before leaving site, reporting any damage and ensuring proper documentation is acknowledged
    • Verify seal numbers and report any discrepancies before departure
    • Follow all company OH&S and WH&S procedures to ensure a safe working environment
    • Operate vehicles responsibly, adhering to road laws and site-specific instructions at all times
    • Maintain your assigned vehicle and equipment, including basic upkeep like greasing trailers
    • Report any mechanical issues promptly to the Transport Manager
    • Assist with container unpacking when required, using safe manual handling practices
    • Handle delivery paperwork and documentation as needed

    Qualifications

    What you’ll need:

    • Valid HC Licence (essential)
    • Strong understanding of wharf and transport operations
    • Commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism
    • Ability to work independently and follow procedures
    • Good communication skills and attention to detail

    Additional licences highly regarded:

    • Experience with hydraulic operated sideloaders
