This role will involve working collaboratively across operations, logistics, supply, pricing and commercial teams to support the processes specifically related to Inventory administration in support of the business’s strategic direction to:

• Improve operating income through profitable growth, the scaling back of unprofitable business, staff development and an improvement in supply chain management
• New customers will be gained and existing customers retained by an emphasis on sales excellence, operational efficiency and exceptional customer service
• Analysis of inventory exceptions including root cause analysis
• Provide input to the development of all Inventory related processes and supporting systems
• Support Arbitration for daily and monthly inventory processes and accuracy.
• Active input and participation in continuous process activities including:
  • Inventory receipt processing
  • Losses and Gain reporting

Salary Information:

• Guaranteed minimum hours per month - 173 hours
• Basic Pay Rate - £11.08 per hour
• Saturday Rate - £14.74 per hour
• Sunday / B.H. Rate - £18.39 per hour
• Basic Salary - £23,000 (with the potential of some overtime)

Previous experience in fuel distribution would be beneficial including a basic understanding of inventory operations and processes in the fuel distribution industry.
