Job Description

As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Momentus Technologies, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the development, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and grow your skills while supporting the team in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relay facts, technical challenges, and solutions to address/resolve questions and requests affecting typical situations.
  • Utilize scripting or Object-Oriented Programming to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Apply knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases to manage and query data.
  • Demonstrate the ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Use infrastructure management tools to maintain and monitor system health and performance.
  • Implement and manage cloud services using platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Apply knowledge of networking principles to ensure secure and efficient communication between systems.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of applications.
  • Ensure communications are supervised to foster learning and ensure content is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English
  • College Degree
  • Ability to work US hours 1 week out of the month (5:30pm-2:20am IST) and work on call 1 weekend out of the month.
  • Competent in scripting or Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Competent in SQL or NoSQL databases and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficient in using infrastructure management tools.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles.
  • Proficient in using Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Experience in participating in and conducting code reviews.
