Job Description

Position Goal:  Manage all company resources and activities of the station in order to support the department objectives, corporate goals and regulatory compliance.  Be a representative of the Airline by building and maintaining our relationships within the communities which we serve through marketing with the goal to help promote their Island.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain timely communication within station and with the other departments & stations.  Conduct required personnel functions in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide on the spot training with all employees (Share, Observe, Shape)
  • Provide constructive feedback to employees through evaluations and counseling in order to improve performance and recognize accomplishments.
  • Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of all required station reports
  • Ensure product quality, cleanliness of aircraft, appearance of staff in uniform standards and on time performance.
  • Responsible for station safety, operating, & financial performance
  • Maintain subject matter knowledge of all company manuals assigned to the station
  • Monthly evaluations ensuring that station employees, airport facilities, equipment, vendors and systems are in compliance with required company manuals to support a safe & efficient station operation
  • Act as a Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) on behalf of the company following completion of training. (as required)
  • Builds community relationship by attending community groups and other networking functions
  • Coach their teams, be a leader and lead by example.
  • A Supervisor or Manager must be on premises during all business hours of operation.
  • Any other duties that can be safely performed as requested by Director of Stations
  • Make recommendations to Director of Stations of staffing levels as well as interview new hire candidates to be recommended to Director of Stations. 
  • Keeps station appropriately stocked with supplies

Qualifications

The incumbent must be able to pass pre-employment contingencies in accordance to FAA/DOT regulations. Pre-employment drug test, and 10-year background check.

 Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent required

 Experience – Past Managerial experience preferred, but not required.  Experience in aviation industry preferred, but not required.  Some sales experience preferred but not required.  Experience with social media, Radixx or similar reservations systems preferred. 

 Licensure/Certification – No Licensure/Certification requirements

 Equipment to be used – General office equipment:  computer, telephone, fax, scanner, printer, and copier 

 Special Qualifications – Must be able to multi-task, be able to communicate openly and effectively, possess analytical and computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.

Training/Orientation Period – Training will be supported by the Director of Airport Services and the Manager of Corporate and Retail Sales.  Initial and recurrent training will be provided. 

Supervisory Responsibility – Oversee Customer Service and Ramp Agents
