Job Description
We are looking for an Intermediate PHP / Javascript developer to join our Christchurch based team to help us deliver great projects to our users.
The role will see you building robust and scalable web applications by contributing beautiful code. In collaboration with your team you will be responsible for creating software that is competing on a global stage.
Your role and responsibilities will include working on new and existing projects as part of an agile team. This may include project pre-planning, front-end development, back-end development, testing and deployment. Your interest in modern JavaScript libraries will additionally see you adding value to our team.
Finally, your presence in the office will add to the vibe of our small, tight knit team. We know when to focus and when to have a little more fun…..!
Qualifications
Top signs you are who we need:
At least 4 years commercial experience in PHP and MySQL development
Demonstrates expert knowledge of HTML / CSS / Javascript (Experience is cutting edge Javascript beneficial)
Multi-browser compatibility experience
Experience working with versioning software such as Git
An ability to problem solve and handle pressure and deadlines
A passion for new technology and pushing the boundaries
- Experience working in an agile team
