Job Description
Primary Responsibilities & Skills:
- Create new business opportunities through market research, networking and lead generation
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, product knowledge, competitive landscape and technical developments to increase business opportunities
- Manage sales process from prospecting and nurturing leads to closing deals and ensuring a positive customer experience
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, analyze sales metrics, and monitor performance
- Attend trade shows, meetings, and other events as required, accommodating regular travel, both local and national destinations
- Provide coaching to sales representatives; motivate, train, and support team to achieve sales targets, lead team in adapting to business needs as they change, managing multiple tasks and roles simultaneously
- Maintain assigned budget while increasing financial performance and revenue growth
- All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales, marketing, or business
- A minimum of 10 years of dental sales experience is required
- 5+ years of supervisory/management experience is required
- Ability to demonstrate consultative sales skills
- Ability to manage customers and direct reporting employees nationally, across different time zones
- Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Excellent ability to communicate both written/oral -high competency in customer service and solution mindset
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in leads tracking and conversion metrics
- Ability to travel regularly, accommodating overnight/weekend stays as needed
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a company MVR check
Additional Information
Expected base salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 plus uncapped eligibility for commissions. Salary is based on level of experience and relevant skills.
