Job Description
We have started to market our BI platform and introduce a powerful analytics and data discovery tool through an aggressive outbound campaign. Therefore, we are seeking a senior BI Pre-Sales Implementation Specialist who will help us implement our innovative BI product for new customers. As a member of our Customer Success team, s/he will work closely with new customers to demonstrate proof of concept and implement our Lantern platform.
This role serves as the engagement lead for new BI projects and will be the liaison between the customers and the Modemetric product team. This role, which requires hands-on technical expertise along with customer-facing skills, will play a key hands-on role in customers' adoption of our platform. The specialist will be responsible for demonstrating the product to potential customers, installing the product, as well developing reports and dashboards.

Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years client-facing BI engagement and implementation experience in the US market
- Extensive hands-on BI implementation experience, including back-end and front-end development
- Experienced in pre-sales demonstrations and requirements gathering
- 7-10 years hands-on experience with one or more of the leading BI tools such as Business Objects, BW, Cognos, MicroStrategy, OBIEE, Tableau, Qlikview, and PowerBi
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in developing reports and dashboards
- Experienced in data visualization, OLAP, data warehousing, and data modeling
- Experienced in developing queries to extract data from any RDBMS, such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and Teradata
- Ability to install and manage databases, as well as provide O/S support
- Experienced in ETL with ability to connect to various types of data sources
- Experienced in managing BI engagements from POC through full deployment
- Self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities as well as manage timelines, deliverables and client relationships
- Nice to have: Knowledge of BI and database landscape as well as the differences, in terms of features and limitations, between different BI platforms
- Self-starter with the drive to work in an early stage startup, where we are still designing the processes to introduce our product that we believe will transform an industry
Location: Candidate must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area
