Position Overview: As the SQA Lead at our software house, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team. You will oversee all aspects of the software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products to our clients. Your expertise in SQA methodologies and practices will be essential in maintaining and improving our software development processes. This job opportunity is for fulltime on-site work. #LIONSITE

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and manage a team of SQA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
   • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, and ensure they are met effectively.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.

2. Software Testing Strategy:

   • Develop and implement the overall software testing strategy and test plans, considering project requirements, timelines, and risks.
   • Define and communicate testing standards, procedures, and methodologies to the SQA team.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project manager, and designers, to align testing efforts with project goals.

3. Test Planning and Execution:

   • Work with project managers and development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
   • Coordinate and prioritize testing activities, ensuring adequate coverage across functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
   • Execute tests, analyze test results, and identify defects or areas for improvement.

4. Test Automation:

   • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated testing frameworks and tools.
   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
   • Continuously monitor and enhance test automation processes to adapt to changing project needs.

5. Quality Assurance Processes:

   • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
   • Conduct regular audits and reviews of software development processes to identify areas of improvement.
   • Collaborate with development teams to address identified issues and ensure continuous improvement.

6. Communication:

   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and development teams, regarding software quality status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
   • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on test results, defect metrics, and overall software quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Solid understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
