Job Description

This position is responsible for developing, creating and executing visual solutions for use in all forms of external and internal marketing communications, advertising and promotional materials that result in an enhanced product image. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, and partners with other marketing team members to deliver successful marketing programs and initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating and designing prototypes and visual concepts that promote Mitratech brand and solutions, including but not limited to marketing collateral, direct mail promotions, email campaigns, web graphics, print advertisements, electronic newsletters, form templates and conference event concepts and materials

• Responsible for translating strategic business objectives into creative solutions

• Responsible for creating design drafts and camera-ready art, ensuring corporate branding specifications are followed to ensure work meets organization guidelines.

• Partners with other marketing resources to create online content and contribute to the Web design for both internal and external-facing websites

• Executes graphics design programs requiring planning, scheduling, and implementation of graphic design standards

• Determines effectiveness of product imagery and presentation needs through customer and third-party feedback

• Monitors industry design trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as necessary

• Maintains brand/design library and ensure accurate revision cycle

• Performs routine maintenance to current materials both in print and electronic formats

• Performs other duties and activities as assigned


Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, version 5 or higher

• Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent software

• Exceptional attention to detail in graphics, layout, and typography

• Strong design skills suitable to a corporate environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and excellent communication skills.

• Experience with Flash and video

• Basic knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver

• The candidate should have a strong background in designing print, electronic and online collateral.

• Ability to manage high volume of requests daily and work consultatively with internal clients

• The candidate must be highly motivated and able to work efficiently in both independent and collaborative situations

• Demonstrated capabilities of estimating time schedules and working towards aggressive deadlines

• Demonstrated flexibility in multiple task assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Graphic Design, preferably Multimedia and Web Design

• Experience: 3-5 years of graphic design experience
