Job Description

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours:  20 Hours Per Week

Hours of Work: 06.00-10.00hrs Mon - Fri
Salary: £10.00 per Hour

In your new role as a Supervisor you will supervise a small team of catering staff during the night shift. You will maintain accurate staff attendance record, manage holidays and absence allocation and effective performance review and engagement action plans. Monitor and adjust resources for the department to ensure the needs of the hospital are met in conjunction with peaks. Plans, allocates and evaluates work carried out by individuals, teams and self & provides and organises information for action, responsible for ensuring there are adequate staffing levels across the department. Coaches & develops their teams to be the best they can be.

In order to be successful in this role you will have excellent time management skills, good communication and organisational skills, ability to work from your own initiative while taking a flexible approach to the role. Good knowledge level of all Microsoft office packages. Fully competent in the use of PCs and other types of technology. Previous customer service skills and good awareness of health and safety legislation is desirable.
