Job Description

  • The primary responsibility of this function is collating quote information, providing updates, liaising with engineers and subcontractors and resolving customer queries and  technical support to the team and wider TSOC.
  • Managing the team that will be responsible for collating and managing the information required in order to provide the customers with quotes
  • Deliver a ‘service excellence’ culture among your team
  • Facilitate clear direction by setting and managing employee objectives, fully utilising people management processes such as MiReviews and Talent Mapping Support the Tsoc technically where required
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within the Tsoc to facilitate delivery and compliance with engineering strategy
  • Ensure your team deliver to required SLA’s & KPI’s
  • Resolve any complaints that have been escalated in an efficient and professional manner

Person Specification

  • Management skills based upon practical people management experience and client issues
  • Proactive approach to innovation and problem solving
  • Estimating or QS experience knowledge desirable
  • Relevant technical qualifications and industry experience
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload workload                          
  • Good communicator, at all levels, and has the ability to present their case competently and fluently – both verbally and in writing
  • Time Management
  • Strong drive to achieve goals

Health and Safety responsibilities

  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Report any issues or training needs to your  Line manager and /or  via your divisional incident reporting system;

Information Security

  • Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
  • Report actual and suspected security incidents;
