Introduction & context

To support a successful integration of  Mitie and Interserve FM, a competent and experience reward professional is required to support all reward integration activities. Activities will include reviewing, analysing comparing and developing costed options around harmonisation.  The successful applicant will work closely with the Group Head of Reward and Reward team as well as the wider integration project team and HR function.

Job Description

Scope of reward integration 

Our aim is to integration as much as possible as soon as possible in order to set the relationship off on a positive footing and to enable a more efficient and effective management of our people within the ‘NewCo’.  Activities include the following:

  • Supporting the application of the ‘Organisational Health Check’ tool kit, which supports the assessment of unchanged organisational entities ‘health’, or supports the creation of ‘healthy’ management structures.
  • Allocate band and grades to all ‘salaried / overhead’ roles as a minimum .
  • Use a benefits matrix linked to bands and grade to cost the introduction of grade related benefits such as:
  • Participation in the Group Annual Bonus Plan (ABP).
  • Participation in LTIP.
  • Car allowances.
  • PMI.
  • Support the introduction of a Companywide flexible benefits offering (once costed and approved) including:
  • Life Assurance for all
  • Virtual GP Service and free flu vaccinations for all
  • Cycle to Work / Buy holidays
  • Access to Mi deals
  • SAYE and SIP
  • Plus, a host of other benefits
  • Align pay dates (decide the most appropriate date for the new Company)

Additional Information

Health and Safety responsibilities

  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Report any issues or training needs to your  Line manager and /or  via your divisional incident reporting system;

 Information Security

  • Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
  • Report actual and suspected security incidents;
