We operate in 10 countries with headquarters in Berlin, but the Nordic operations run from Cykelfabriken in central Stockholm, where we are approximately 30 people. Thanks to our efficient business model, we can offer the Nordic's largest assortment of glasses, contact lenses and sunglasses at really attractive prices. In the Nordic region, the majority of sales today are contact lenses, but we see strong growth in the glasses segment and the time has come for higher online penetration in the eyewear market.
 

Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Nordic finance team of 5 people and be part of a global organization. You will be one of three Senior Nordic Accountants and report directly to Head of Accounting Nordics.

The company is on a development journey in the Nordics, new routines are being implemented and ways of working are constantly updated. We are ideally looking for someone who has worked for at least 3 years in accounting, ideally on a Nordic level (or towards Norwegian companies) and advantage is knowledge in IFRS.

In this position you will work hands on with accounting – from daily business to be part of company audits.

  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly closings for the Nordic companies
  • General, daily accounting
  • Payments
  • A/P
  • Inventory accounting
  • Reconciliations
  • Depreciation and leasing
  • Partly be involved in audit processes
  • Ad-hoc matters

You have daily structure and contribute to a positive team spirit and thrive from a developing environment. You take initiative, have the ability to from new ideas and perspective, and are used to work effectively within tight deadlines. Swedish and English language, both spoken and written fluently is required.

Qualifications and experiance

  • Bachelor’s degree or corresponding knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years in accounting
  • Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
  • Experience with ERP Systems, (Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an advantage)
  • Experience with IFRS16 (advantage)
  • Experience in or towards Nordic countries (advantage)
