Job Description
The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Engineering organization through process optimization, standardization, waste elimination, and automation initiatives. This role develops engineering workflows, procedures, performance metrics, and governance systems to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability. The position works closely with all engineering functions to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that support business growth.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering functions.
- Analyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Establish engineering KPIs and performance measurement systems.
- Facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement projects.
- Drive standardization and best practices across engineering teams.
- Implement digital tools, automation, and workflow enhancements.
- Lead root cause analysis for process-related issues.
- Conduct process audits and maturity assessments.
- Support organizational transformation and engineering excellence initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of engineering, operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement experience.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification preferred.
- Experience within ETO manufacturing, electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial engineering environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and change management skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- The work environment is primarily office-based, with a quiet to moderate noise level and traditional lighting.
- Wear the proper PPE when visiting warehouses or transportation facilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.
- Ability to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed. Some travel could require overnight stays.
