Expanding company and Exciting venue in Croydon's buzzing Restaurant District seeks dynamic, experienced Head Chef to head up the kitchen in this award-winning venue. 
This is your chance to get involved and put your own stamp on the business with menu creation and the curation of your own team. 
Our client have spent a year bringing a totally new concept to the area and have been recognised as one of the UK’s top new venues . 


 This large and impressive site underwent an extensive refurbishment last year and has featured in many interior design blogs and editorials.
The company is progressive with a strong emphasis on team-work. Operationally this is a 6-day a week site with brunch offering, evening menu, together with a big roast following on Sundays. The site will have in excess of 100-150 covers in a casual/laid back environment.

Ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate attributes would include: At least 2 years experience as a head chef in a similar busy brunch environment

Natural hands on leader as you will be running your own team Experience running large 7 day a week sites Able to work calmly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

Great experience working with fresh produce and a flair for creative menu creation

Commercially aware with a good understanding of GPs, stock and staffing control

Strong with a can do attitude Enjoy the fast paced hospitality industry

Highly organised with good back office skills

Able to set and maintain high kitchen standards

Great customer service skills Able to lead your own team of staff at all levels


Salary & Benefits



£38 - 40 k per annum 



3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews & Well Structured & Professional Working Environment



Working Hours: 50 – 55 Hrs P/Wk (7 Shifts over 5 Days)



Meals on Duty + Chef Uniform
