New opening
A great opportunity has arisen for a production head chef with pastry experience to join an events company who are opening their first restaurant outlet specializing in quality British pies and pastries.
Previous chef background in premium comparable bakery/pastry orientated production or event /operations essential
Hands on pastry product experience to include sweet and savoury pastries
Role
Responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the new opening, capacity of 50 capacity plus take out/events
Maintaining consistency/GP of food
Maintaining a healthy, fun and productive working environment with a high staff moral
Responsible for the completion of all necessary administrative duties
Recruitment, training and development of your team
Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be fully up to date on current Health safety Hygiene Legislation
Candidate Profile
Will have proven history as a Chef with Pastry production experience also /restaurant /gastro experience an advantage
Must have a stable working history with excellent checkable references
Must maintain professionalism under pressure
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Will have a calm professional demeanour and a passion for delivering great product
Salary & Benefits
£35/ 40k , k with excellent growth opportunity in expanding and successful company
5 days per week - hours flexible but likely to be 6 am - 2/3 pm
