Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Network Data Analyst to act as the logical translation engine for a large-scale network consolidation program at a US-based Tier-2 Telco. The role operates at the intersection of data and network architecture, focusing on transforming fragmented legacy data models into a clean, standardized target-state schema. It ensures that all data feeding the automation pipeline is accurate, structured, and aligned with the overall architectural design. This position is ideal for professionals who prioritize data integrity and excel at converting complex infrastructure data into consistent, actionable formats.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the logical data architecture for the master Technical Scoping Matrix (TSM)
  • Translate raw and disparate data extracts from multiple legacy network environments into a unified, standardized target-state data model
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies, including duplicate hostnames, inconsistent naming conventions, and structural inconsistencies across datasets
  • Detect and flag architectural blockers such as overlapping IP subnets and routing conflicts, enabling Network and Security Architects to take corrective actions
  • Ensure that all output datasets are fully normalized, validated, and structurally aligned to serve as reliable input for automated configuration generation pipelines

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, solution architecture, or network data modelling, preferably within M&A IT integrations or large-scale infrastructure programs
  • Advanced expertise in data normalization, schema mapping, and relational database management (SQL, Master Data Management)
  • Strong foundational understanding of enterprise network concepts (IPAM, subnets, hostnames, asset inventories), including the ability to identify issues such as IP conflicts within datasets
  • High proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced data manipulation techniques
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design scalable data rules and frameworks
