Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Engineer with strong design, development, and implementation skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of BRM architecture, hands-on expertise with opcodes, pricing modules, and integration components, as well as strong programming capabilities. You will work as part of a globally distributed engineering team, contributing to the enhancement and optimization of our BRM-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Oracle BRM solutions.
- Create High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documents for BRM modules.
- Develop custom policy opcodes, Custom MTA applications, and other BRM custom components to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Work extensively with Pipeline Rating Engine and perform related configuration tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Perform system evaluations, identify performance indicators, and implement corrective/improvement actions.
- Research, design, and develop software applications to extend, improve and optimize current solutions.
- Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Work collaboratively within a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of design & implementation experience in Oracle Billing Revenue Management System (Oracle BRM).
- Good understanding of BRM Development environment, opcode expertise, and Pricing Module knowledge.
- Experience in writing custom policy opcodes and MTA Applications to meet the Customer specific requirements.
- Good hands-on experience in the Pipeline rating engine and related configurations.
- Good understanding of BRM modules like Customer Mgmt, Billing, Invoicing, Subscription Mgmt, Journal, AR, etc.
- Good hands-on experience in Pricing Design Center (PDC).
- Good at programming using C, Java, Python, and scripts using Perl and Shell scripting
- Experience in systems evaluation, such as identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance.
- Good hands-on experience in Billing Care. (Good to have)
