Job Description

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our team at a leading US-based global telecommunication provider. This project involves maintaining the Genesys Orchestration Server (ORS), enhancing and integrating Genesys' core routing capabilities with other Genesys products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for the CX platform, ensuring responsive web design for seamless user experience across devices.
  • Regularly update and enhance UI components, refactor and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend services using HTTP REST-based APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization.
  • Develop and maintain test cases with frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, perform regular testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring UI quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to align with project goals. Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and improvements.
  • Clearly document UI changes, updates, and enhancements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for future reference and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with the DevOps team for smooth deployment and operation of the CX platform.
  • Provide support for UI-related issues, promptly address user feedback, and troubleshoot frontend issues in the production environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale web applications.
  • Strong working knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Hands-on with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js, and Web Components.
  • Solid backend integration exposure using HTTP REST-based APIs, with a strong understanding of synchronous/asynchronous request handling.
  • Strong API development using Node.js
  • Experience with communication frameworks (e.g., WebSockets, CometD) and responsive web design techniques
  • Proficient with JavaScript test automation frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma
  • Confident with build/test tools such as Gulp and Grunt
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices
  • Operational experience with source control tools such as GIT and Mercurial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
