Job Description

A client-facing Project Manager (PM) has dual responsibility and accountability. As a Miratech employee, the PM is responsible for earning profit for the company, meaning that projects have to be successful, executed within budget constraints, and high team morale. As a PM dedicated to a client, they are responsible for the continuous delivery of tasks as assigned by the customer observing the time and resource constraints. In this latter role, their primary goal is to help customer IT meet and exceed business customers' expectations within the areas of their responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of project plan and project budget that align with Miratech standards and goals.
  • Regular, timely, and comprehensive reporting of the projects’ progress.
  • Estimation of resources and timelines necessary for the completion of assigned tasks.
  • In cooperation with sourcing, allocation of resources to projects.
  • Observing the adherence to the communicated timelines and taking corrective actions as and when necessary.
  • Liaising with customer IT and business on their goals and consulting on ways to achieve those.
  • Being responsible for the change and quality management within the assigned projects.
  • Providing advice during the course of IT operations on industry best practices in this field.
  • Monitoring team performance, establishing a feedback loop, and maintaining team spirits.
  • Be a point of escalation for the team, both internally and externally, and control issue resolution.
  • Proactive identification of any risks to the assigned projects and taking actions on elimination or mitigation of those.

Qualifications

  • Have 5+ years of IT development/management experience with projects based on Genesys solutions
  • Managed development projects on various web and Contact Center Technologies
  • Minimal of 3 years managing specifically enterprise-wide technology transformation and innovation
  • 5+ years’ experience in working with technology teams and their delivery excellence.
  • Strong solid technical background that you proactively keep current
  • 3 years’ experience with Scrum delivery process Kanban experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor Degree strongly preferred:  Management Information Systems, Information Technology
