Role overview

Mirabaud Asset Management is expanding its Swiss distribution team and is looking for two commercially driven Sales Executives to accelerate business development in German-speaking Switzerland and Romandie. The roles are focused on new business generation, client acquisition and net new asset growth, primarily across the wholesale channel, while contributing to the broader growth and diversification of Mirabaud AM’s Swiss client base.

The successful candidates will be a disciplined and collaborative hunter: highly active in the market, systematic in pipeline management, capable of building long-term relationships with prospects and clients, and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial boutique asset management environment.

Key responsibilities

    •  
  • Identify, generate and convert new business opportunities within the defined Swiss target universe.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across all channels (incl. institutional) but with a particular focus on wholesale clients and prospects, including banks, independent asset managers, family offices, platforms and other distribution partners.
  • Promote Mirabaud AM’s investment capabilities and solutions in a consultative manner, translating investment content into relevant client conversations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification to meeting preparation, client follow-up, opportunity conversion, mandate acquisition and ongoing relationship development.
  • Contribute to net new asset growth and to the diversification of Mirabaud AM’s Swiss client base across channels, client segments and investment strategies.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and activity tracking within the firm’s sales framework and CRM tools.
  • Work closely with Investment, Marketing, Operations and other internal teams to prepare client meetings, roadshows, events and tailored follow-up materials.
  • Represent Mirabaud AM professionally at client meetings, industry events, roadshows and brand-building initiatives.
  • Provide market feedback, client intelligence and competitor insights to support the continuous improvement of the Swiss distribution strategy.

Qualifications

Candidate profile

      •  
  • 3–5 years of successful sales or business development experience, ideally within asset management, wealth management, private banking, fund distribution or another investment-related environment.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and the Swiss asset management market; knowledge of wholesale distribution channels is a clear advantage.
  • Existing network or strong ability to develop relationships with banks, independent wealth managers, family offices and other Swiss distribution partners. Institutional relationships are a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and results-driven personality with a clear hunter mentality and high intrinsic motivation.
  • Highly organized, disciplined and systematic working style, with the ability to operate within a clear sales framework.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and build credibility quickly.
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively with investment specialists, marketing, operations and senior management.
  • University degree or equivalent background preferred; CFA, AZEK, CAIA or another relevant investment qualification would be an advantage.

Language and technical requirements

  • German native level required; Swiss German strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English required. Any additional Swiss market language is a plus.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is expected.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and AI-enabled productivity solutions to improve sales discipline, preparation and execution.
