Job Description

Define, maintain and execute the overall Digital & IT strategy for Mirabaud Asset Management, ensuring full coverage of the IT landscape (digital, applications, data and infrastructure), aligned with business objectives, operational needs and governance requirements.

  • Act as the overall owner of the IT function for the business, ensuring coherence, robustness and sustainability of the full IT environment, whilst maintaining a clear separation between run, infrastructure operations and transformation activities;
  • Translate business needs into pragmatic digital, data, automation and IT solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure specialists and external service providers;
  • Define and maintain target architectures covering applications, data, integrations, infrastructure evolution, automation and AI-related initiatives, ensuring scalability, resilience, security and cost-efficiency;
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including process automation and pragmatic adoption of AI solutions, whilst ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure, security standards and regulatory constraints;
  • Oversee the governance, evolution and performance of outsourced IT services and internal infrastructure operations, challenging providers on operational quality and strategic alignment, whilst supervising day-to-day IT continuity and escalations;
  • Ensure alignment of all Digital & IT initiatives with internal governance frameworks, risk management principles and applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining relevant policy documentation in close cooperation with risk and compliance teams;
  • Prepare, manage and monitor the Digital & IT budget, covering both operational costs and transformation initiatives, whilst preparing regular reporting, dashboards and KPIs related to performance, infrastructure stability and project delivery;
  • Support internal and external audits related to IT, data, digital and infrastructure topics, coordinating follow-up actions and remediation plans.

Qualifications

 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent, preferably from a top-tier university (e.g. EPFL, ETH or equivalent);
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in digital, IT or technology roles, with exposure to digital transformation and broader IT/infrastructure environments;
  • Strong understanding of modern digital and IT architectures, including applications, data platforms, automation and infrastructure operating models;
  • Solid conceptual understanding of infrastructure environments (cloud, networks, security, workplace) with ability to supervise and steer specialists and external providers;
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into structured, realistic and value-driven IT and digital solutions;
  • Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset combining digital innovation with operational and infrastructure constraints; demonstrated interest in digital transformation and applied AI;
  • Excellent analytical, structuring and prioritisation skills with strong ownership, accountability and solution-oriented approach;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact confidently with senior management, business teams and technical experts;
  • Proficiency in standard office tools (MS Office); familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments is a strong asset;
  • Fluent in French and English.
