Mint Physician Staffing—based in the Westchase district of Houston, TX is a well-funded, entrepreneurial, fast growing company that is looking for passionate, solution-oriented consultants to recruit quality candidates for our national client-base of healthcare facilities. As a Recruitment Consultant, your job will be to find, contact, and recruit physicians and other healthcare providers for Locum Tenens (temporary) assignments all over the nation.
We will train you on all of the unique aspects of the job and this sector of healthcare. Locum Tenens is a $2.4 billion industry and Mint Physician Staffing is well-positioned to serve the needs of specific our clients’ healthcare facilities. We are looking for high-integrity, performance-oriented individuals who exude the confidence and conviction needed to not only gain trust from physicians, but also to build lasting relationships. It will be your job to negotiate individual contracts and present temporary assignments to physicians in your network.
Mint is owned and operated by Stuart McKelvey, a founding member of Monster.com. Just prior to Mint, McKelvey was Group President of the Monster.com Asia Pacific region, responsible for over 2,000 employees and $400 million of revenue. Mint is a private venture that is now growing rapidly under Mr. McKelvey’s leadership, most notably with 25% annual growth for the past three years.
Responsibilities include:
• Sourcing, prospecting & building relationships with new & existing physicians in your network
• Handling internal processes related to on-boarding new providers
• Helping fill last-minute shifts and recruiting physicians for established clients
This is a non-exempt, full-time (40 hours per week) position with a base salary, plus a generous “un-capped” commission plan—with potential to become a six figure opportunity within 2-3 years with high performance. This is an on-site role in our Houston office—not a work-from home or remote opportunity. You will also be eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance.
Qualifications
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Sales or recruiting experience
- Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills
- Tenacious spirit and focus
- Ability to develop relationships over the phone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent closing skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
