Job Description

We are excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple opportunities available across our Sydney properties:

  • Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites
  • Oaks Sydney Hyde Park Suites
  • Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites
  • Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and apartments, including making beds, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Completing cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
  • Adhering to safety procedures and company standards.
  • Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with all training and tools provided.
  • Building positive working relationships with team members, guests and contractors.
  • Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring guest areas are presented to the highest standard.

Shift Details

  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
  • Shifts commencing between 8:00am and 9:00am
  • Weekend and public holiday availability will be highly regarded

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
  • Professional communication skills and a team-focused approach.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical handling is advantageous, with training provided.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
