Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging accounting professional looking to develop their technical skills while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of hotel and property operations across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the Accounting and Finance Reporting Team with a broad range of accounting and financial administration responsibilities, including:
- Managing accounts receivable and debtor reporting
- Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes
- Preparing reconciliations, financial schedules and statutory reporting
- Assisting with tax, insurance and compliance requirements
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide finance support and resolve queries
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and special projects
Expected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week
Location: Minor Hotels Australasia, 26 Duporth Ave, Maroochydore, QLD 4558
Salary: $75,000-80,000 (excluding super)

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
