Job Description
· Monitor and control daily operational costs in accordance with company policies and budgets.
· Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance reports, and budget performance reports.
· Review purchasing transactions, inventory movements, and stock consumption.
· Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
· Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes.
· Monitor food and beverage costs, operational expenses, and departmental spending.
· Coordinate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
· Prepare monthly closing reports related to cost control and inventory.
· Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
· Analyze pricing structures, menu costing, and profit margins where applicable.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory, wastage, and consumption trends.
· Assist the Finance Manager and Accountant with financial analysis and reporting.
· Monitor slow-moving, expired, or damaged inventory and recommend corrective actions.
· Ensure proper system controls and accurate data entry within the ERP or accounting system.
· Provide management with timely reports and recommendations to improve profitability and operational performance.
· Assist management with ad-hoc finance and operational tasks when required.
Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems such as Oracle Fusion and Symphony.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
· Ability to analyze financial and operational data using system-generated reports
