Job Description
The Longevity Advisor is responsible for managing each guest’s wellness journey through personalized consultations, wellness guidance, and therapy recommendations tailored to each guest’s needs and objectives, in line with the resort’s wellness model.
This role supports guests throughout their stay by encouraging, educating, inspiring, engaging, and motivating them toward positive transformation and optimal health and wellbeing. The position also ensures a smooth and goal-oriented wellness experience through close follow-up, coordination with operational teams, and post-stay continuity support where appropriate.
1. Guest Consultation & Wellness Journey Management
- Prepare all relevant guest documents and records prior to one-on-one consultations, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and distributed appropriately after consultation.
- Conduct arrival consultations and supporting diagnostics to obtain a clear understanding of each guest’s health status and wellness objectives.
- Provide personalized recommendations, wellness plans, and treatment pathways in line with the resort’s signature wellness model.
- Assist in wellness schedule planning during the guest’s stay to ensure alignment with goals and preferences.
2. Personalized Wellness Support & Follow-Up
- Set up individual wellness plans such as detox diets, specific dietary requirements, lifestyle recommendations, and personal preferences.
- Ensure a smooth, wellness-focused, and goal-oriented guest experience through close follow-up, encouragement, and daily support.
- Conduct departure consultations and ensure guest feedback is documented, shared, and followed up where necessary.
- Follow up on guest requests after departure, including continued coaching support or sourcing suitable practitioners near the guest’s home location.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with relevant departments and team members regarding treatment options, contraindications, health matters, and special guest recommendations.
- Liaise daily with team members on individual guest progress to ensure service consistency and optimal care.
- Support and guide Villa Hosts or relevant guest-facing team members on wellness facilities, cuisine, and wellness services.
- Follow up on any wellness- or resort-related guest issues and ensure appropriate resolution with the concerned department.
4. Operational & Departmental Support
- Support the Wellness Director in planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring Advisor services for guests.
- Assist with monthly reporting, including productivity, training activities, service utilization, and revenue contribution where required.
- Provide suggestions for improving, expanding, or creating new wellness services, retreat programs, products, and treatment offerings.
5. Training, Education & Wellness Culture
- Conduct weekly wellness-related educational sessions or talks for guests at the library, lecture room, or designated venue.
- Conduct health and wellness training sessions for staff members to enhance awareness and service alignment.
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives by providing consultation to staff referred by Human Resources under the Wellness Workplace project.
- Coordinate with the Medical Wellness Clinic in supporting staff care where appropriate.
6. Brand Representation & Professional Development
- Maintain up-to-date health and wellness knowledge through case studies, training, research, and industry discussion.
- Where appropriate, represent the resort in media interviews or external communication relating to health and wellness services.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong guest engagement and relationship-building ability
- Health and wellness consultation and coaching capability
- Good clinical observation and assessment skills
- Ability to motivate, inspire, educate, and support guests toward positive lifestyle transformation
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Good written, verbal, and computer literacy skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Naturopathy, or related field
- Additional qualifications in complementary wellness modalities such as TCM, TTM, NLP, CBT, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Energy Medicine, Yoga, Ayurveda, or related fields would be an advantage
- Relevant wellness, coaching, or integrative health certifications are a plus.
Experience
- Experience in wellness hospitality, retreat operations, integrative wellness, medical wellness, or a similar guest-focused environment
- Experience in conducting guest consultations, wellness planning, or lifestyle coaching preferred
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in spa, wellness, medical, or hospitality environments is an advantage
